I felt addiction to video games but I think it was fueled by depression. I'd just turn my Xbox and avoid it as long as I could but I'd play every day even though I didn't want to really it was boring and I kept doing it. It's like I didn't know what else I could do to pass time. Very weird but I sold my Xbox to stop it

no and you will overcome it - one day - far from now. I love gaming but since a while I just can't enjoy it anymore. Dont know why. I want to game when I can't but if i find the time I am bored after 5 minutes
Yes, I have a floor association when I would just be all over the floor most times of the day, it's very serious, also no one should ever sit and hold a controller like that ^
I think it's an addiction like any other. I don't consider addictions mental disorders.
Anything can be an addiction even sex has finally been proven to be addictive.

Yes, of course. It can be a type of addiction.
Call yourself a transexual pangender queer asexual kangroo dinosaure helicopter dragon and nobody bats an eye.
Play video games and holy shit- you're the bad guy with the mental disorder.Anything can be addictive. Just look at the people that died from playing videogames for three or more days straight without going to the bathroom or eating.
No we play games because we like actions and trying differnt stuff.
Games satisfiy a need that has not been met yet same happens with other addictions (internet, games, smoking, drinking, eating, watching Tv or youtube)Anyone 18 or above playing video games is destined to be a virgin for life and will still be playing games at 40 with no ambition other than ranking up in CSGO
Nonsense, that depends on how often being played, but that doesn't bother me.
The addiction is the disorder, more than its object. ( in my opinion )
I hope not cos if it were I should probably be in some sort of rehab rn
yes it can be if you act out the things that you see in the video games grt out and about for fresh air
No it not a disorder we just have to lable everything now a days
No, but people that dont play games came up with that shit
Addiction and disorder are two separate things. Being addicted to games is an addiction.
It can be if you end up devoting all your time to it unhealthily. 'It's fun' isn't an excuse when your GPA is sliding.
