Apollo Creed is the best, because he had the most honor.

After their two championship fights, Apollo and Rocky became best friends, when Rocky was in a slump, Apollo helped him train and helped him get the Eye of the Tiger back.

The others are just generic bad guys. Picked for their look. Creed was a real character, and the best boxer in the series.

Apollo Creed for me. I thought he was more interesting than Rocky and so charismatic, and his personality and fighting style reminded me a bit of Muhammad Ali.

It's gotta be Apollo Creed! I always remember the scene where he's on an escalator down to the ring with his USA flag shorts on and "living in America" by James brown as his entrance music. Love it! 😁 Ivan is up though after killing my boy 😤😂 RIP Apollo! Lol

@Bananaman177 , agreed !! The others were picked for the " love to hate 'em " factor , esp Dolph Lundgren. Lundgren has a background in Kyokushinkai karate , a full contact style , so he did fit the role well.
