Do you laugh at your own jokes?

The thing is that I almost always laugh at my own jokes, but no one else do. Some people may find me boring, silly or offensive. Some even think I've a very bad humor and having bad humor itself is offensive. No offense, but I think they're boring when they finds me boring!

I've both a dirty humor and a dialect/accent humor. I find it funny when people imitate famous dialects or make their own one. I also likes word plays.

Almost always. My wife thinks I'm crazy because I am often laughing at my own jokes. Sometimes I recall the joke I told previously and start laughing out of the blue. It is very funny to me. I amuse myself very much. I have a wonderful sense of humor in my opinion. It seems very compatible with my own.

The other day I was laughing so hard because a guy on here asked, "If I get an ear piercing? What year should it be?" And I said 1986 and with a mullet and maybe a glittery suit. But that wasn't when I laughed. I started laughing after posting that answer and some music videos of guys wearing earrings in the 80s like Prince and Modern Talking that I realized he made a typo and meant to ask "which ear"he should have pierced rather than "what year". That was very funny and I couldn't stop laughing at my answer. I kept looking at it and started laughing harder and I was like. "No, no, stop looking at your answer!" Then I looked at it again and started laughing again. I almost fell out of my chair.

What made it funnier was that someone played along and posted most 80s videos of like Rick Ahsley and others wearing earrings. He might have also not realized the typo. So we were all going back and forth exchanging like the cheesiest guys from the 80s sporting earrings. And the whole time we were kind of oblivious that the asker meant to ask "which ear it should be" instead of "what year it should be".

I just wish motherfuckers would learn what sarcasm, dry humor, and dark humor are, and stop taking my shit so serious and get a sense of humor. Anyone can make dumb noises and funny faces like Jim Carrey In dumb and dumber. I don’t find that shit all that funny, but it takes a brilliant mind and severely dysfunctional and damaged person to come up with double entendres, backhanded compliments, sarcasm, and make humorous comparisons and dark analogies. That takes fucking talent. Like Bill Burr, so funny, intelligent and damaged. It takes talent to come up with some of the most fucked up shit a person can say, yet still make it result in rib splitting laughter.

The Kermit pick is so funny by the way, and as I told you before, you got talent and should do stand up or try to be a writer for comedy shows and movies. I think you’d be a hit.
