Do you ever laugh at yourself?

Question

Laughing at yourself. Not for what you might have mistakenly done, but for what you genuinely lust to do. Whether it be buying yet another item, sleeping with yet another girl, eating ice cream while calling salad nasty, etc.
Laughing at the core of who you are. I guess not because that takes a lot of awareness. This society doesn't have many aware souls.

Of course , if we couldn’t laugh at ourselves then life would be pretty much pointless and boring , we are all imperfect people and we all do stupid shit Life is too short to be miserable all the time especially the way this world is with all the crazy shit the goes on and the crazy shit we deal with in life and the crazy shit we face each day , Happiness is a positive feeling and sadly
It’s hard to find at times when we are surrounded by constant negative things and people , so laughing at those people and those things and ourself is better then being negative all the time , at least it is for me , Considering I can admit to myself that I am not perfect but when I have a smile on my face, it feels better then being angry or sad and if I can make someone else smile that’s even better is how I look at things , Today is Friday and I am smiling cuz the weekend is here and after work I got some good brew waiting for me in the fridge , the weather is supposed to be nice so I plan on being outside and enjoying the sun and grilling some food with a beer in my hand and just relax , if I can get laid , even better but all that matters is I have a smile on my face and not a care in the world , Oh yea and smiling has gotten me laid more as well so another reason I love to smile and laugh at myself cuz I think what the fuck does she see in me but I just don’t question it I just go with the flow with a smile on my face and when it’s over I laugh at myself thinking what did I do to get her? Then laugh again cuz I have no clue , but it’s things like that make me smile and gets me through , just how I look at it , Life in general has 2 sides , like 2 sides of a coin , Good and Bad , Happy and Sad , Right or Wrong , etc.. it’s your choice Cuz no matter what you choose their will always be an opposite. Value yourself worth and live contently has helped me smile more

All the time I mean I have to. Some of the things that I read on here and then some of the things that I answer with my first initial 5 is usually pretty funny because it's the way that I see the question but no matter what I'm doing during the day there's always something that comes into my head and I definitely have to laugh about it or I'll be doing something in that moment that I'm doing it I know it's the wrong thing to be doing and within 2 seconds I messed it up and I have to laugh about it because I knew better that's part of life it's like learning how to walk when you're 2 years old you want to do it so bad can you keep falling down well you can either cry about it or nothing about it and get back up and do it again so it doesn't really matter I don't get embarrassed it's part of life I have to laugh about it

Hey now, don't go assuming before you had a chance to hear us out lol. I understand where your coming from though, I too witness others who are not self aware. They honestly probably haven't had any reasons to self reflect to gain self awareness.

To answer your question, yes, I laugh at myself all the damn time. I even tell myself out loud 'you're ridiculous' or 'you're so funny' while laughing and shaking my head at myself. I realize that I probably need to get out more and socialize with real live actual adults🙄

Quite a bit. I crack myself up, even at times when others don't get the joke.
For example, there are favorite lines from movies that pop into my head. There are a million of 'em.
I often wake up in the morning with some bizarre song running through my head. A few days ago, it was the theme from Flipper. WTAF? I'll come out and start singing them to my wife and she thinks I'm insane. Later, I'll hear her walking around the house humming them. LOL

When I opened a coke the bottle cap said "Tonight you will get your dick ripped off". I thought it was a Coca Cola prize, but then a bunch of guys showed up at my house with sharp hooks and long necklaces made out of dicks.
