Maisie Williams Worries Her Appearance Will Negatively Affect Her Career

Well, if she is referring to yesterdays scene with Gendry it did feel wrong. She is very good looking, but she looks very young. And the fact that we have followed her since she was indeed a kid, that also adds up. She is that brave and tough little girl we love, and seeing her like that was uncomfortable.
She's an individual, I think she's cute, and someone who seems happy and comfortable who she is, (The problem is, is being in the spotlight people will have unrealistic expectations of her, just hope she doesn't change because no matter who you are in life, you can't please everyone).
She's gorgeous! She's right, she's not the kind of cookie cutter babe the industry looks for, but to me her uniqueness is a good thing and I hope she gets the roles she wants because she's a great actress and deserves them. Shallowness is shit and I hope society gets over it
So my mom went to see aquaman. Not because she's got in anyinterest in the character, or that universe, but because she wanted to drool over Jason Mamao shirtless. I'd bet abs like his that quite a few people went to see the movie for the same reason.
He's an attractive dude, but there are plenty of guys less attractive than him that I wouldn't call unattractive. Hollywood tends to like to have the best of the best, to make the people in their movies as sexy as possible when appropriate (and sometimes when it isn't), because it puts butts in seats.
I can totally believe Maisie could have trouble finding roles, because she doesn't have big boobs and a lot of people think she looks like a kid. It's a much safer bet to go with a more 'conventionally beautiful' actress.
I don't think that means she's unattractive. I think she's gorgeous.
Uh... she's basically perfect for every single Girl Next Door and Female Heroes Journey for the next 10 years? I have little doubt that neckbeards across the lands would love to see all there is of Maisie Williams.
I can see how she has some masculine features and is pretty young overall but that simply bolsters my points about GND and Coming Of Age stories-- most teenage actors in shows or movies are 30somethings that look young asf.
Guys love an odd girl they can project an affinity towards.
She's not your typical average girl, but I think she's good looking in her own right. The image where she looks like she just came back from the gym is unflattering but who does after a good session? We kinda need to value people as individuals not collectively. I bet she's a decent woman
She's beautiful. But she's beautiful in the fact she has great energy, and is an individual. By comparing herself to something she will never be, she's denigrating herself. One should recognise who one is and celebrate the strengths in that, rather than focusing on the weaknesses.
I think she's cute, but also a plain Jane. Joanne Froggatt, admitted to being a plain jane, and accepted that she would never play a large, glamour woman role. I think this is acceptable, if the actress doesn't suit the role of the film.
I personally don't find her particularly attractive but, as though as it may sound trivial, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", so I think this body shaming is avoidable.
She is not unattractive but watching her grow in the GoT series I look at her like a little kid. So that sex scene was extremely uncomfortable even though she is not unattractive.

she's not unattractive but I get what she means. she's not going to be getting the sex icon roles and is going to have to be an actually good actress lol
She's not unattractive, it's just hard for me and maybe others as well to think of her as anything more than little Arya Stark cause she does still look like a child...

She's not unattractive. She's just not the type of girl who is going to be able to land roles as some type of a sex symbol. She's a great actress though.
she's kind of similar to chloe grace moretz in this regard.
It's not that she's unattractive. It's just that she's in a profession where everyone else is super-attractive. If you saw her out with Sophie Turner who would you hit on?
Well, A lot of characters aren't suppose to be beautiful but Hollywood casts beautiful people for the part anyway. That aside I wouldn't say she's unattractive.

Based on traditional good-looking or media good-looking, she's not good-looking at all, from kid to young lady. Her eyes kind of bulge and her features are funny looking. I'm sure they chose her to play Arya for a reason. Regardless, she is extremely talented and I hope Hollywood will give roles to women that rely on talent more than looks, which is a rare thing to find.

Lena Hedley in James born casino royale wasn’t a contemporary “plastic” woman. But she was pretty in her own way.
I think women worry about this more than guys. I look at acting skills first.
You're as bad as me, I say someone as a kid or young in their 20s lol... I remember how much I hated it, then I semi-laugh it off and say it's better saying you're young, than I'm old
