Do you think adults coloring books are stupid?

I'm just wondering what people's opinions are on this because I know a lot of people that love gel pens and coloring books.. To me, I see no problem.

I don't think it's stupid. I wouldn't get one as I studied arts and I prefer to be in front of a blank paper, but I get that some people get relaxed by the act of coloring, and they just want to color, they don't want to think the design or what to draw because they don't want to stop to think, they want to relax and be able to get the mind in blank state.

No. I've never used one but they seem fun! I loved coloring as a kid and will still color with the younger kids in my family if I get the chance lol.

If it's an artistic hobby to beautify colourless pictures I find nothing wrong with it.
However - I think of colouring books of the children's style now: that must be a quite 'dull' adult who does it.

I don't think they are stupid at all. I enjoy coloring. It has a way of calming me and relaxing me.
