Video gaming skills aren't affected by gender. Over time a person can be better at video games. It's is believed women have more dexterity. Women in general aren't as interested in video games compared to men. For a long time it was only men who played games. It's still very male dominated. We have an influx in casual gaming over 71% are women. More times than not "serious" gaming on things like Undertale Assasins Creed GTA CoD Halo etc you have more men. The representation of women in video games does tend to put off women. Don't get me wrong women still play but they have expressed their distain for the over sexualised women in games. Ie Lara Croft will always be seen as an overly sexual woman with "male" traits.

Having worked in a lot of different industries I can say, woman have more potiential than men at video games, FPS's in particular. Woman are just naturally Better than men as hand-eye coordination. Sure men can get good at it, but most women just grasp it better and quicker.

As always there are exceptions too this. There's clumsy women just like their are exceptionally gifted men at video games

Why wouldn't they? Most girls I've known to be gamers typically destroy me across the board. The whole girls suck at games/are only playing to impress guys idea is ignorant and toxic. It's why most women refuse to play online, with a mic, or when they do use voice change to hide their gender. You'd be surprised by the horrible things men in the comunity say to these women. Its disgusting!
