What do you think about Travis Scott spitting on a fan because he allegedly tried to steal his sneaker?

I just stumbled across this video of Travis Scott, please watch it, it doesn't take long.

The title translates to: "Openair Frauenfeld [a music festival in Switzerland] Travis Scott spits on fan because of a pair of sneakers"

He really managed to turn his audience against him in a few seconds, isn't that interesting? This definitely changed my opinion of him.

Just to make sure nobody takes this the wrong way: this has nothing to do with BLM, the video was taken in 2015.
None of the German comments below this video are pro-Travis Scott, they're all shocked, I don't think the audience saw what was going on.

It disturbs me how he turned them against this guy. What if he wanted to give him his shoe because he noticed that it was falling off? People were hitting him, that's just ridiculous.

There’s an element to conflict that people never talk about... his “retaliation” may or may not be out of line, but... WHY is that person trying to take his shoe to begin with?

Toxic people. Just do the right thing to begin with. If you can’t handle the consequences, don’t act up. Same with politics. Don’t go barking up the other tree if you can’t take the bite. Why not just meet in the middle and shake hands? If you just behave accordingly, you’re never going to put yourself in bad situations. You get out of life what you put in.

Don't violate Travis Scott’s personal space, don’t get spit on. Pretty f’ing simple, and what disturbs me is that more and more it seems like people can’t seem to fathom or grasp this idea.

I think being in the public eye you should have to behave in certain ways to set good examples for the millions, potentially quite a lot of kids, that are watching. And there's plenty of other ways to show annoyance than literally spitting on someone.
