The thing is , whenever people make fuss about a TV series or a game i automatically lose interest in whatevet they going crazy about 🤷‍♀️
I don't know why i do this?
Is it only me?

It depends on what it is. If it's something I can tell I'm not into I'll skip it but if it's something I might be interested in I'll usually watch it. There are exceptions though like Attack on Titan I still haven't watched it.

Yes hype can put me off as well.

One example is that the film industry needs to recognize that putting too much of the film into the trailers is repelling a percentage of potential viewers.

Your not alone, I've done the same before. I think its because I'm worried the hype won't pay off and then when my friends ask me "what did you think?" I either have to disagree with them or lie.
