First, if you have that materia equipped that makes your weapon deal linked Elemental materia damage, get rid of it. It's only going to come back to bite you if you don't.

On top of its two forms, Hell House also has 5 modes which basically act as special Shields. The first four are; fire, ice, lightning, and wind, and if you hit the Hell House with their corresponding element then you'll annual actually heal it instead of hurting it. So you want to hit it what's the opposite Elemental materia; ice for fire, lightning for wind, and vice versa. The hell house was switch between these shields at random. Once you get about halfway, the hell house will start using a God mode which basically reduces all damage to single digits. So when this mode comes up, just keep your distance and wait. Other than that, all I can suggest is you stock up on healing potions and keep moving.
