Why do so many people hate Robert Pattinson?

If you're referring to being cast as Batman, probably because he was on Twilight, and nobody takes Twilight seriously. Apart from that, people who get cast in popular superhero roles tend to get a lot of hate. Ben Affleck got a lot of hate when he was cast for Batman too, and he did great, in my opinion. I worry not about Robert Pattinson being a bad Batman. He's a great actor, and looks really good as Batman too. The only problem I see with this new film is the story. I don't like the route most superhero films are taking these days

My guess would be Twilight. I took a look at the previews, thought "That's not for me" and moved on, which is apparently some sort of superpower; that was YEARS ago and I still hear people grousing about them.

Nah, he's a nice guy. I've always liked him because he seems so chill and calmed guy. I felt soo bad for him when Kristen cheated on him, I felt like he didn't deserve that.

I think he's a great actor with lots of potential but not as a pretty boy. His best roles in my opinion were borderline nutcases like Cosmopolis and Good Time.
