If vampires were real, how did the first vampire became one?

In movies, you turn into a vampire when one bites you and gives you their blood. They basically killed you.

The vampire that bit you became one too when he/she got bitten. But going back to the very first vampire ever, how did she/he became one if there weren't any vampires? Would it be through an animal then? how?

Depends there is tons of origins for Vampires. One of the main ones for example is Biblical so it was a curse from god, also the bible mentions werewolfs. According to biblical scholars, alukah can mean "blood-lusting monster" or vampire. Alukah is first referred to in Proverbs 30 of the Bible (Prov. 30:16). The most detailed description of the alukah appears in Sefer Chasidim, where the creature is understood to be a living human being, but can shape-change into a wolf.

Well, being a avid student of mythology and lore, according to the original myths you didn't become a vampire by being bit by one. It was something that just happened to people after they died. Some times a bad person would become one, some times some one who died in a bad way (murder or what have you), some one with a grudge, or some times no reason at all.

Though that is for the vampire (balkans) and the strigoi (eastern european). Depends on the myth, and country (though again, most are some one who was immoral in life, had a grudge, or was not properly buried (not taking care of the body after death was a big deal and resulted in hauntings, revenants, vampires and all sorts of other "monsters").
