Trending & News I used to relate to this song when I was deeply deeply infatuated with my crush in school... lol, to me every class in school up to the last two years in high-school were just torture and would never pay attention to them, was fidgeting, dreaming awake, doing my own things... so when I got a crush on this girl, I was just captivated by her every gesture, her eyes, her lips, hands, her hair, eyebrows you know, all those micro-expressions. And all the faces she would do when focused, confused, bored, distracted and what no. Of course I could just not stare at her like a dumbass, I had to be discreet and take chances when I could and others, especially her would not notice I was taking a glance at her. So that was that.
Forwarding to years later, when I did have an actual girlfriend, then the same song took a more literal meaning and significance, I would indeed spend my time in bed next to her (it always take me at least an hour to fall asleep) and I could spend every single minute of it just seeing her sleep next to me or on my chest, it was at first, quite an unbelievable thing... not just that we were together, but also how absolutely wonderful she looked while sleeping "like an angel" she was quite a gorgeous thing, inside and outside, so... at both occasions I just didn't want to miss any second of it, just deeply infatuated (with the crush), and then in love (with the one that was my girlfriend)... and in the moment, trapped in the very moment. Women are such beautiful things. I think this song is about that.
I've never been a big fan of Aerosmith.
They do rock for kids ( or: rock for beginners) in my view.
Tyler and Perry are peacocks. Show boys. Posers. Average talents.
Did I say, I'm not a fan? ... thinking about it further... I actually can't stand them :D
What about Jimmy Cresko?
Still not... sorry
I'll never forget that movie Armageddon my late husband and I saw it at the drive in & the song came on he started singing it to me
With my 2 left feet he continued singing although the movie went on , he wasn't quitting 😌
Thank you ❤️

This is the best song by Aerosmith. Anything after that is a lesser song.

You might know that version that Aerosmith recorded but this is not their song. I don't even consider this a song as it was manufactured for a specific purpose. Secondly if you compare this to Aerosmith's body of work you'll see it really doesn't fit in that well. But I don't blame the band for wanting a payday either
Didn’t Steven Tyler write it about his daughter?
Its the song for the film Armagdon featuring Stevens daugther Liv along side Ben Affilck and Bruce Willis.
Or Type Armagdon Sound track and this will come up.
True
Decent song. Not a huge fan of aerosmiths more slower stuff, but I can see why people make it their song for relationships
It's telling us not to have locks on bathroom doors when she moves in
What? I don’t get it.
lol I'm not explaining that
Sometimes I rub off in the bathroom, but so do a lot of people. Locks are good for that.
Ohh is that why you girls take ages in morning dirty dirty, I meant getting to work on time 🤣
😂😂😂
here. it is okay, especially if you are calm and chilling
Thank you 😊
Well in so many ways is very true song I think we've all been through before and I think it just cute it's a chord with this every once in a while when we cared but I like it I like Aerosmith.
A song that makes my eyes water and like wine, the years don't get old.
I think I got burnt out on this song when Armageddon came out...
I was like ten lol. But it means a lot to me.
I’m sorry 😊
I adore that song and I love how animated Steve Tyler is. He's a freak show all by himself.
Really liked that song. Hard to believe Aerosmith was together for. 47 years 1970-2017.
Wow...
That's a good one.
Aerosmith is one of the best groups ever in rock, in my opinion.
It's pretty saccharin, but I have to admit I like it.
I know that song - I think it's a really good song!
😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing with us, will have to see what it sounds like
@gwenhwyfar I love the song and it almost made me cry
vou still have to type 15 letters to add a link
https://www.youtube.com/embed/JkK8g6FMEXE I like this one more it's about Steve Tyler's struggle with drug addiction.

It reminds me of this moment

I like it. Not sure, but I think it's the only ballad they've done..
Its a great song yes. I prefer Dream on and Walk this Way more though.
I don’t like Aerosmith I would prefer Flock of Seagulls over them
Not really a fan of this one. I realise Aerosmith are hardly cutting edge but this song held zero interest. I liked the Pump album a lot though.
It's not my favourite Aerosmith song. I think of it as their Celine Dion moment.
Reminds me of my past romance. And a certain Twitch steamer bitten by her cat
Good song. So is "Love In An Elevator". 👍😂
I love this song and I love the movie its from.
