I like the Halloween movies. I find Michael Myers really creepy. I guess bc he doesn't talk and just randomly shows up everywhere.
Tremors. A monster movie rather than a horror one, but it definitely has its scary moments. It's essentially "the floor is lava" as a movie, but not only is it VERY well written (not a single wasted scene!), but EVERY character (human and otherwise) consistently makes logical, intelligent decisions based on the information they have at the time- there are no glaring bits of stupidity to let the plot happen. Not many movies, regardless of genre, can claim that.
with kevin bacon yes! who doesn't love kevin bacon?
Supposedly (I don't know if this is true), his wife was pregnant and having their first baby at the time. She'd apparently been raised with the expectation that she'd name her first child "Macon" after a family friend, and he refused, saying "We're not going to name a child 'Macon Bacon'." Again, I don't know whether it's true or not, but just hearing of celebrity insisting on NOT giving their child a bizarre name is so refreshing...
thats hilarious-he is a fellow philly native and awesome!
I really like military horror films but those are not very common. Films were a squad of soldiers encounter some kind of unnatural menace (hostile aliens, monsters, supernatural entities, zombies etc)
