Why is Travis responsible for Astroworld? But Ariana isn’t responsible for Manchester?

Travis Scott was just going his job performing at Astroworld. He had absolutely no control over the crowd. What was he supposed to when the crowd went crazy? That’s the securities responsibility not the performers.

When that terrorist in Manchester decided to attack the Ariana Grande concert no one held her responsible.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I haven't looked too closely at what happened at Travis Scott's concert, and I'm only going off of the initial rumors that I've heard, but I think one of the reasons why people are laying more blame at Travis Scott's feet than they did for Ariana Grande is that the Islamist terrorist went there with the express purpose to kill people, whereas at Scott's concert, the crowd was getting riled up as part of the concert and there didn't seem to be adequate plans in place to keep the crowd under control.

Granted, you are correct in saying that you can't 100% control the crowd of your concert, but the person managing the concert absolutely dropped the ball when it came to security. Travis Scott being the face of the concert naturally makes him the target of criticism, and the decisions of the manager may not be his fault unless he was some level of veto power.

But, all in all, it's not a fair comparison.

not sure if you’re acting stupid or actually are but i’ll explain it you you like a 10 year old; one was a bombing with intention to kill, the other was negligence by everyone including the performer whom of which did things like encourage fans to jump security, ignore ambulances trying to get into the crowd that he clearly saw, and heard and saw people being trampled and did nothing. idc how much dick sucking you wanna do to travis but don’t compare these two, you know it’s very different that’s why you chose these concerts.

Everyone else has already told you , but let this also be known, her concert had ended, and like minutes later when people were about to leave, it happened. and when she got to know about it, she was heartbroken, and held a benefit concert with a few other singers to raise funds for the victims families, free tickets to attend it too, and unlike travis, her concert's are much more peaceful and more about love. and she actually cares. also visited her injured fans in the hospital.

Travis was very aware of what was going on he could have stopped the show immediately the same way he did when he claimed a fan stole his shoes a but nope he didn’t he even encouraged people to jump the barriers even when he saw the ambulance he still continued to perform

Ariana had no knowledge of what happened she didn’t even know the full extent of it until hours later
