I was actually having a conversation about this just the other day, and everyone was surprised when I said I wanted to be voiced by Morgan Freeman. The somewhat muted response was "He can't play you, he's black". Now, there have been maybe- MAYBE- four times in my life when that's been an important thing, and only one of them was film-worthy, and hell, he played Red in the Shawshank Redemption. But what I said was "*Voiced* by Morgan Freeman. I want to be PLAYED by Morgan Fairchild." Cue even more confused stares, to which I said "Hey, what else is she doing these days?".

When that didn't alleviate the problem, I added "Well, I'd've said GORDON Freeman, but none of you know who he is.". Stupid Valve, letting their flagship character drift out of the public consciousness and ruining my joke.
