What is a better system to you Wii or GameCube?

Definitely the GameCube. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I did own it. GameCube had some hits, like Smash Bros Melee and Resident Evil 4. I don't really like the Wii and never did. It was a gimmick and not much else. It also KILLED Nintendo's third-party support, and the GameCube barely had any due to using those stupid mini-discs to combat piracy (not that it worked).

I get it made a lot of money due to bringing in lots of casual gamers, but the Wii could've been salvaged for real gamers as well, by just having more normal controller support and not forcing the motion-sensor on games that didn't need them.

Yeah, I just never bought the Wii or got into it. I spent that whole generation with Xbox 360 and nothing after that, since 2013 is went gaming went completely downhill.

I'm not a Nintendo person at all, but the Wii as a console is better due to more a sophisticated CPU and HDMI output. There's also the fact that you can play Gamecube games on the Wii so I feel like that defeats the purpose of using a gamecube.

I don't know. I have both consoles, but that was the time when I didn't play Nintendo stuff much. I played the NES, SNES, N64 much more. I played my Switch more than my Wii or Gamecube too.

they are pretty comparable actually. nintendo took their old approach with the wii like they did with the Gameboy back in the 90's. they depended on innovation and ease of use over top notch graphics. there were great looking games on both systems but just not as great as say the xbox 360 or ps3. the wii's contemporaries

The GameCube is definitely better in terms of its games and its controller, literally no doubt about that, but the Wii supports GameCube games as well as being able to emulate games from other consoles, and the Wii has a decent library of games anyway, which makes the Wii obviously the better system
