If I am bad at it. I just don't do it. I like doing things that somewhat progress me which would be something I am good at. If I just draw bad everyday for example it won't really create anything but a mess, however if I write on a story of mine now that will come out as something at least.

I'm learning to play violin. I love the instrument and how it sounds but am not an accomplished player, so I guess I like it but am not good at it.

Dancing? I can follow simple steps but nothing too complicated. To me "hardcore dancing" is jumping around and moving my body like a maniac.

I really dislike things I am bad at, and I tend to avoid them. Too much harassment about the things I am bad at (like skiing) from the time I was a child.

I live in Southern California so really there is no skiing here anyway and the one time I did go skiing I hurt my knee pretty badly. I understand what you're saying but I don't think I could ever do it again and feel comfortable.

I'm not sure how old you are now except I sort of think you aren't 106 years old. Anyway, as you get older you will experience what I said and hopefully you will be able to think about what you're doing and control it appropriately. There is almost nothing worse than being at the mercy of your own hormones.
