Probably, but there are a lot of variables. A normal-sized adult man isn't big enough for a gorilla to see him as a threat (which is why, if you run into a non-human ape in the wild, you'd better hope it's a gorilla- run away, and it'll let you go, while a chimp DOES see you as a threat and will tear you apart if it gets scared), so they'd be able to get away with a lot more before it retaliated. Bigger men might alert it sooner, though- I've seen them react more strongly to me than to others, and I've heard that... Shaq, I think? Some NBA player, anyway, actually has them freak out when he approaches, seeing him as a potential rival (I wonder if I'll have that effect when my hair goes gray?). A gorilla has the muscle to literally rip your arms off and beat you to death with them, though, which would scare off many of its attackers.
Basically, a determined enough group of assailants COULD overwhelm the creature, yes, but it'd take many with it when it went. It'd go faster if they worked together- dogpile it to immobilize its limbs and head (they bite with more force than a grizzly bear), and you'd wear it down struggling against you.
Well, some guys would get rag dolled for sure. And killed.
I think while the gorilla is mangling the first few guys someone would have to jump on its back, then another guy, and a few guys would have to dive for its arms and legs. Basically you would have to dog pile onto the beast like football players, and start raining down blows, gouging out its eyes, stomping on its head etc. It wouldn’t be pretty.

Yes, 100 men could defeat a gorilla and bring the gorilla into submission, if they attacked together. But I think some of them would be injured, possibly seriously or even a few dead.

My money is on the gorilla. It would be worse than 100 toddlers trying to attack a grown man. A gorilla has a higher strength ratio compared to a man than a man compared to a toddler.

Gorillas can’t punch. I’d say half of the people together should just jump on the gorilla and subdue it and then the rest of the people should hit it with knees, kicks and punches to the face. Maybe even jump knee first on his jaw or neck and kill it.
Although if this was a Tiger, the Tigers are much faster and quicker than any human. They can probably evade most of the attacks and they can also kill a person in one single swipe.
Cheetah also stands no chance because it’s way weaker. Even two or three guys could potentially defeat a Cheetah.
And a Lion would also lose because Lions cannot stand on two legs and they can only use one of their paws at a time.
The humans would just drop themselves on a Lion and crush it as the Lion’s height would be lower than humans because the Lion can not stand on two legs.
