They could defeat the gorilla simply by running away until the gorilla gets tired; the gorilla isn't as fast as them even in a sprint, and requires a recommended 14 hours of sleep a day, as opposed to their 8. So all they have to do is just keep their distance, wait for the gorilla to fall asleep, sneak up to it, and use one of the lighters they all carry around with them to set its fur on fire, torching it to death.
Gorilla would win. It's the strongest primate with twice the strength an adult male in peak condition has. Not to mention it would be absolutely ferocious when threatened.
And how would they kill it? With their flat human teeth? Weak jaws? Their nails? Their poor speed? Their inability to climb? None existent predator instinct?
