Who is Hennessy?

Hennesy is a cognac, alcholic beverage, brand. It has some status and depending on where you live it is quite likely a bit of a luxury.

Since it is an older brand I would assume its just used as a money and status reference, possibly also associated with a rich white society and top hats.

But it is just somewhat expensive alcohol.

Hennessey is a brand of gin, one whose label boasts that it's "Enjoyed by a small number of people around the world", since it's, y'know, gin, and so tastes like unwashed sweat socks. Actually, you're 14, so I hope you DON'T know that, but it does. My dad liked the stuff, for some unfathomable reason, so I'd see the occasional bottle.

Affordable compared to Remy Martin Louis XIII which is very old and very fine and crazy expensive which is why I'm glad someone else bought it when I tried it
