But I was wondering if it looks weird
What do you think about henna?
But I was wondering if it looks weird
You're from Qatar, right? Ask the people around you - very different connotation than around here. Around here people assume "hippy" or "white girl trying to be 'cultural'."
But from what I know of the Arab and "Muslim world," unless it's a wedding or Eid (or maybe a party), yes, I imagine it looks a little weird.
I like it. And yeah
I like it too but it's sort of unusual as an everyday thing (I'm a Muslim, alhamdulillah, and am pretty active in the Arab community here - so I'm not just making stuff up). Then again you're young so I suppose it could be looked upon as more normal - I don't know. Again I don't know much about Qatar's culture.
lol most qatari girls wear henna
All the time?
Ofcourse not all the time. But everutime mine comes off comeplety I just do it again. With henna stickers :p
Ooh I like henna stickers. I just use a tube to do mine. The Libyans here are the ones who use the stickers.
I can't do mine properly with the tube. Unless someone does it on me
It's like drawing using your wrist lol - not easy especially when the tube is almost out.
https://www.hennapage.com some good resources here mashaAllah
https://www.hennapage.com/henna/what/gallery/index. html especially this.
on the skin it's cute... sometimes. just make sure it's actual henna. some people sell something else that's cheap and highly toxic..
I tried dying my hair with henna once.. it washed out after two washings. that was upsetting. ;/
Lol yeah, I think toxic Henna should be banned. Black henna is banned already
Just be careful next time
I've never put it on my skin.. just in my hair and it was real henna. it just isn't any good as a hair dye. lol
yup i've got henna tattoos on my hands and legs before... they last up to more than a week
I like it too and I use those too
Every eid when I was a kid my little sister would put that on, my mom would help her, it'd take so long and she would have to be all careful for a bit after applying it or it'd mess up. I would ball, I still ball. That stuff is hard to do and take patience.
It doesn't look weird.
Why would you ball? Why do you cry?
Lol ball meaning play basketball. I love basketball.
Oh... But.. What does that have to do with henna
Lol I was just relating a story while telling you it's not odd. It just takes a lot of patience that I don't have to sit there for cause I'd rather play ball during that time
I see it a lot at weddings and stuff. Apparently it takes days for it to come completely off.
Mine comes off in like 1 week

You mean like this? www.eyebrowthreadinghennatattoo.yolasite.com/.../5Henna-Tattoos.jpg
If so, it's very beautiful. I love those intricate patterns.
Oops, hadn't seen your update.
Me too. But I use henna tatoos to do the really hard designs
It's okay, I like that picture more
That's so cool
Ah, it looks very beautiful, very pretty. It's originated from India, we call it mehendi here. And it is not at all weird, not at all. :)
It's an Arab tradition actually...
I really like henna... I have done my own designs on my hand and arm once with my friend. (: My friend also used henna to dye her hair of course. (:
Red henna? And did it last?
Red henna to dye her hair*?
No, I think henna looks beautiful. I had it done once and I loved it.
I love it too
I always wanted to try it, but never had the occasion :(
Lol it's not that hard to find
You'll be surprised, here half of the population never heard of it.
It's not that surprising actually
In england, we call it mendi... the punjabis and indians here call it mendii
It's called henna where I live
Yaaaas. mendhi
I like it :)
There are many beautiful henna designs that I love. I prefer the simple ones.
I use henna stickers to do the harder ones
I have real tattoos lol but I love the detail that people put into the art style
I love it too
That's y I have real tattoos lol
But real tatoos never come off
I no lol but the art that's on my body is my like story the good the bad the past and what I hope to be my future
In my opinion it looks weird. But you are certainly free to do what you like.
Lol yeah. It's like a temporary tatoo but not quite
To be honest, I never heard of it, so I had to look it up to see what it was. Not a fan, but if you like it then don't let me tell you what to do :)
I won't... Lol I was just wondering. It's not like I'm going to stop wearing it. I love it
Fantastic! Enjoy it!
I have donr it before but i only got my nick name on my right arm it was like this

I like it. It looks good.
Very beautiful
I think so too
Never heard of it.
I know why.
It's acceptable.
Do you even know what it is?
Of course I know what it is.
Well.. Cause most people don't on that continent. I think. I'm not trying to generalize
Henna is actually very (annoyingly) popular in most metropolitan areas and at craft fairs.
What do they even do with henna over there? Make hearts and draw their names?
I'm
Not trying to sound rude by the way, I'm just curious
Well, henna designs, hearts, names, random squigglies, flowers, etc.
Nothing culturally valuable, of course, but it's cute and impermanent.
Why do you think it's annoying then?
[ due to his absolutely poor influence on you, he cannot answer truthfully and therefore withholds ]
Why do you do this ;_;
Please answer truthfully
