Yes, but I distinguish it very much from real attraction in that I wouldn't even want to date them in real life.

For some reason, I tend to be most attracted to the evilest female characters, like Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones. I don't actually want to date her; that would be a nightmare!

I think it's because she's a fictional character and I don't have to deal with the consequences of dating a villainous woman like that which makes me find her attractive. She's so different from the type of woman I'd actually want to date.

Also, maybe not really infatuation? It's nowhere near as strong as when I'm infatuated with someone real. I just find the character concept so interesting and appealing for some reason.

@Little_Bumblebee I was thinking it might be similar to how some women adore very evil men like serial killers and find them very attractive. I'm thinking the majority don't want to actually date a serial killer but maybe the fact that it is purely in the realm of fantasy makes it more interesting that way. We don't have to pay the consequences of being with these people when it's in the realm of fantasy.

@Little_Bumblebee I actually find Marla Grayson extremely attractive even though she's the most horrid and immoral person and not even attracted to men as far as I can tell. :-D It's a weird thing.

Of course- animated human characters are drawn to look like humans, and they're usually intended to be attractive, and since they lack the physical imperfections that living life brings, they usually succeed. It's only natural.
