Has anyone heard of the forgotten cause of Lolita the oldest living captive orca whale?

The various subtongues of Norse are more varied, in more ways, than they have any right to be; one of the oddities is the way that adjective get applied (well, sometimes; it's OBNOXIOUSLY inconsistent). "Morder hvale" doesn't mean "killer whale", it means "whale killer"- orcas are dolphins.

To my knowledge this elderly whale is still going strong. I believe she’s waiting for something, they played her sounds from her family pod decades ago... I think she survives for this purpose. Because she’s exceeded all expectations.

Yes of course I’ve seen that whale many times it’s at the Miami Seaquarium getting ready to retire. Everybody is saying release the whale out into the wild but how will that whale do out in the ocean by himself alone?

I agree, a wild release at this stage would be suicidal.
They do however, have the option of releasing this tired old girl into a sea pen. However profit usually overrides empathy these days. There’s an entire documentary that was made about this whale. However timing is everything, and Lolita never lashed out and killed anybody, so her struggle mostly remains in the dark.

It’s pretty tough to watch. A similar story, accept that lonely Lolita lives in the world smallest orca tank 😔
