Time was, I read a whole bunch of them. But as the years passed, more and more wound down, and it started to bother me that I'd get invested in a story and characters just to see them suddenly... stop. Actual endings were pretty rare, and often felt rushed even when they DID get made; far more often, it would just stop updating one day.
There are only three I'm still reading. Two of them average about one update per month; one of them is still a few times a week, but is so elaborate on plot and character arcs that it loses its impact if read day-to-day; I usually check in on it once a week or so to catch up. It's been running since 1997, and is probably nearing the end of its run; there are only two closely intertwined plotlines left to resolve. While it's nice to see a story actually run its course and finish, the pacing has slowed to a CRAWL over the years; one recent-ish arc took TWO REAL-TIME YEARS to go cover the events of *one day* (to be fair, that was a MAJOR resolution of several long-running plots, but if I was reading it a day at a time, it REALLY would've started to drag). There's also the fact that it's a story that's been going on nearly as long as I've been alive; I know I'm looking at MAJOR scealahpeum when it finally ends.
Sure. It's called Sluggy Freelance, and is written by Pete Abrams. The first comic is here: archives.sluggy.com/book.php?chapter=1#1997-08-25 and it'll 25 YEARS in August. Man, I feel old. Note that while it starts out as a simple gag-a-day comic, it starts building stuff up quickly.
You're welcome- enjoy! It's quite a ride.
Hive, that's pretty much the only one I read. Not even to completion. The layout is annoying to me.
It's fairly good. It's pretty much a zombie apocalypse, but replace zombies with huge ants.

This is the first time, I've heard of the website, thanks for sharing with us
No problem :) it's also an app!
Is that the quirky anime style web comics site/app?
I haven't found any I like
I like scifi, super hero stuff, Fantasy, . Any art style is fine.
Sure, that would be cool
I've liked The Earth's Chosen Savior so far, it has an interesting plot and I'm very intrigued to see where it goes next. Omniscient Reader is very good, it can be boring sometimes, but sticking with it because it is an interesting storyline and great art. Samadhi is definitely interesting, I like the art and honestly the rest is self explanatory once you check it out. I will always recommend Arma, not because of the art style, but because the story is honestly very good, but a heads up, it is a one a day unlock story because it is completed (ended story). And if you like vampires mixed with comedy mixed with action, I suggest Noblesse! I love it because it is entertaining with the action and superpowerd, but also the jokes in between on which the characters don't laugh at, but the readers do :). A classic sci fi, hero/villain webtoon is A Useless Villain. It was boring for me sometimes, but I stuck with it and its definitely a good storyline. Any of these are worth checking out in my opinion :) They are all different art styles and different stories, so I don't expect you to like them all haha. But definitely give them a look up, because the creators are amazing and definitely deserve more fans and love about their webtoons.
Thanks a lot for the recommendations. Ill check these out. I've been looking for more stuff like manga to read.
