I'm looking for this illegal movie?

I put it illegal by mistake, it's an English movie, I think it's English, I saw it some years ago and it was about a king who was imprisoned and they put an iron mask on his face and he was impersonated by another king and the movie was filmed in a large castle, someone knows the name, I would appreciate them quite a bit

Probably some version of "the man in the iron mask". The historical man was a person held as a prisoner in France, in a number of prisons but always under the same warden. He wore a mask over his face, but it was velvet, not iron. There are many theories as to who he was, but none of them quite hold up to scrutiny; one of the most popular was that was the king's twin brother, hidden away (he lived under quite comfortable conditions, especially by the standards of prisons at the time), but since the birth of the king would been a fairly well-attended event, that's extremely unlikely. We'll probably never know who he actually was.
