Should Will Smith give up his Oscar?

i think he should, from how he acted he needs to give it up, let another more well-deserved actor such as Denzel have it. he respects the industry a lot more and he is a way better actor too. getting banned for ten years is nothing compared to what anyone else would deal with. so what do you all think?

What he did was irresponsible but completely understandable.

And he is probably far from the only man who would have done that if within the same circumstances.

Again I'm not saying what he did was right just that what he did is a very human reaction.



If this wasn't the Oscars and did no one involved was famous then the same action would be viewed in a very different light

Yes he should give up the trophy because what he did was truly incomprehensible. He embarrassed the people within his tribe here in America. What he should have did was kept cool calm and Collective and not fall into emotions. He is a man he's supposed to carry yourself like a man but what he did was did the opposite. He should give up the Oscar because people around the world is watching him and they're also watching what the outcome of this situation is going to be and if he will be held accountable.

Oscar is about professional life. And if you do good in your exams then of course your grades aren't going to be decreased because you picked a fight. Professional and personal life should be completely separated. He did violence and got his ban which he deserves. He should get the credits of the hard work he did all his life.
