Is embroidery and cross stitch a more female orientated hobby?

I’m honestly curious because I rarely if ever see men do embroidery as a hobby. I love cross stitch specifically and love to stitch a few hours a day. It’s very relaxing and seeing your work grow as you go is great motivation. Why is it you think men arnt really attracted to it as a hobby choice often in comparison to women?

Yeah women seem to like it more, I've only even tried sowing a couple times, made shitty hat and pillow in home ec. Class, tried to make a Yu-Gi-Oh deck holder in highschool but lost interest quickly, then finally sowed up a tear in my motorcycle seat but fucked up the end stitch so the tear opened up again after a year.

I'd rather get into wood working so I could make my own furniture and stuff, and as for stuff I could hang on a wall I'd rather take up painting or learnring tin work, tin scolped pictures/portraits are cool as fuck.,

I know a few guys that cross stitch and also knit

its only of those things you tend to do when deployed to pass the time and then keep it up.

also historically a lot of guys did this stuff again just to pass the time.

Carving tended to be more of a guys thing.

I do see and hear more often that women enjoy the hobby. But there definitely are also men who do.

Not really. One of my guy friends just got himself a cross stitching kit like a month or two ago

Sitting gives bear gut, lowers testosterone. Maybe there were men who did like to do those stuff. But no women ever fucked them so they didn't produce any offspring. Over time those kind of men got weeded out of gene pool. Left are men who aren't mostly attracted to that sort of things. That's what I think, MILF.
