What do you like to read?

As an aspiring writer, I'm curious to know this. I want to write something that inspires others or even just entertain. But i can't seem to find what genre to write in. How do i find my inspiration? i dont know.

if you can help me, I'll be so grateful. It's my dream to be a successful writer someday :)

My opinion is one should write what they would like. Not what other's like. Write what you would want in a book, what characters you would want. So what I like is irrelevant. I do hope that inspiration comes to you though but hopefully it will come from yourself.
Also don't be a aspiring writer, be a writer but inspiring to be published one day. Longs if your writing you are a writer even if not published.

I am strong driven so I know what I want to write right away lucky, but that makes it hard for me to give tips what to do for that point. Here's one though make notes of what you like, then jumble and mix those ideas.
Making notes is writing within it's self and writing will lead to more hopefully.

Thank you :) I write about a fantasy world I created up with many creatures, humans with magical powers, vampires etc, then a world based on the year 2099 a cyberpunk future. Then a book about a young girl getting drawn into a cult that will I think become a book series about the cult and her with the books been set when she's at different ages within this cult.
Then a story of a teen who wants to kill but he's afraid of the consequences, but how will his urges and his thoughts be stopped or will he indulge on the act of killing. Then some other thriller stuff, along with more into horror.
