If so, what books do you like to read? I'm looking for more books. This book I'm holding is “Love Letters of Great Men.”

I have ALWAYS loved reading! As a child, it was comics, books, newspapers and magazines. Nowadays, it's e-books, audiobooks, newschannels, and e-columnists. But nothing beats the feel & nostalgia of paper!
So they are real love letters?
Thats pretty cool, it's a good idea
I enjoy reading, especially audiobooks, as they allow me to immerse myself in stories while drawing or painting. My preferences are diverse, including art-focused books, biographies of artists, and captivating fiction that inspires creativity. If you enjoyed "Love Letters of Great Men," you might like exploring "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern or "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt. Both are beautifully written and evoke strong visual imagery! 📚✨

I have to wonder if Rick Astley wrote any books, if so, I would read all of them. But let me tell you this...
Strangers' books I pound with lust and greed
I drill in stories, no plot's too strange
My carbon fetish makes my pages breed
My oily fingers leave a climate change
I'm rock hard for rocks, fossil fuels excite
Let me fucking, frack your mind
Are you gonna drill my shelf?
Pump my literary well?
I'll extract your words like sweet crude tonight
Gush your inky load on me
Let our books combust with glee
We'll melt polar ice caps with our heat, alright?
My bookworm throbs for literature
No shyness here, just pure textual rage
Earth's getting hot but my lust burns pure
I love to probe between each steamy page

I do. I just don't have as much time to read as I'd like.
However, I am currently working through The Man Who Was Thursday by GK Chesterton, which he wrote in...1902, I think? It's about a policeman who infiltrates an anarchist organization.
I'm trying to decide what to read next.
I used to read a lot, unfortunately professional life came in the way. I like thriller, crime, detective stories and biographies. Last book I finished was Gray Mountain from John Grisham. I have a few Chandler and Hammett classics here that I want to re-read.
Yes I do.
And so it's a pity to see how much garbage is published. Meanwhile I read only one book each two years in average. And -no surprise- they all were written long before nowadays re-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
I'm not a reader... my brain is way too spastic and hyper to focus on such long and involved reads, I do like it very much though, yes... I just don't do it as often, lol

Old Indian scriptures. Big fat books. When I was 14. It was fun for me. But I can't read them now. Because I don't have energy or will to do so.
But I still have a good capacity to read long comments of people online.

I do like to read but I seem to have been lax about reading. Before Covid I could go through a half dozen books in the summer. This year I read one and it was a short read.

I love reading. I read mostly history, but also science fiction, fantasy, mysteries, spy thrillers--whatever catches my fancy. I have always been a big reader.
No, I rarely read. I prefer visual things: movies, videos and reality.
I was a book worm growing up and into my adult years.
When I started driving truck I discovered Books on Tape, it has taken over for reading. I still occasionally pick up a book, but the eyes are starting to dim so the tapes work better.

I like my fantasy romance, both young adult or adult though for the most part, i cringe at the sex scenes.
I would be a huge reader if not for vision issues.
After a few minutes the black words on the white paper turn into tv static and I simply cannot read it.
