What Video game impacted you the most? Why?

For me it would be the metal gear solid series which explores politics , history, philosophy, humanity and much more. It makes me understand the value of perspective.

Tekken especially Tekken 7 because I love Martial Arts, I grew up on Martial Arts films with my four brothers & are father. This game captures all most every style plus its cover it in a fantasy world where each character have a special abilities. What I learn as a Martial artist especially from this game is that every style is great, you only use Martial arts for Self defense especially if your life is serious danger, if you trained serious, this game shows how dope you can be, and it also captures how dangerous you can be if you don't have wisdom.

Aw man, good question... I have a lot of games that left a mark on me. In the end I would have to say "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past"

The journey of a kid to save an entire world against the ultimate evil and facing and overcoming impossible odds that no normal man can do. Having courage to face all of it with that much pressure is inspiring.

I think Kaboom! on Atari 2600. I just remember chillin with my dad, and going back and forth with him, smiling and having a good time.

It just brings back great memories, and I think about all the funny quirks that my dad has.

Forza Horizon 3 made me fall more in love with cars and Australia then I already was. Sure i played Sims, GTA, N4S, and Mario kart but none had me absolutely hooked.. well ok maybe sims

I just feel they put all their soul in it and it's not just a work they had to do to earn their salary. In all aspects: game design, music and story. Story is amazing, I always think about it as a modern parable. It's very thoughtful.

Open world, almost do what you want, and with lore-friendly mods, it's super immersive that it drained my weekends back then.

Bioshock fascinated me from the first screen shot. I wasn't into first person games at the time but it's stayed with me and introduced me to a largely new type of game.

Black and white has stayed with me all these years because it's synonymous with the early part of my relationship with (now) wife. And I never finished it because my graphics card kept overheating.

The Witcher 3 I have nearly played it back to back three times. One of the reasons is that there is so much diverse content, and it's totally addictive, and beautiful. You have to go back and try it again in another way.

Throughout the game you have to bond with her, and if you say the wrong shit to her just before she enters the white frost, she dies. It's a hard game to want to start from scratch, but blood and wine was even better. Hearts of stone was ok, but I prefer blood and wine.

Probably the first dead space game because it was one of the very few games I had growing up so I played it religiously. It was also the first horror game I ever played and to this day, it is still one of the best horror gaming experiences.

I actually started to get a little narrow minded when gen 5 came and stopped playing pokemon without actually trying it but I regret it. I started opening my mind after finishing Gen 5 which is what I think is the best Gen. Gen 6 is a little lackluster compared to Gen 5 but Gen 7's story and overworld is also top notch. Gen 8 is what i just finished and I'd say i love it's atmosphere and overworld.
