Did you know Clint Eastwood had a hit record?

I heard this today on the oldies station. I never knew Clint could sing.

The only time I remember hearing Clint sing was in Paint Your Wagon. It was pretty bad (the vocals, not the movie).

But apparently, he also sang on Kelly's Heroes (1970), Bronco Billy (1980),, and "Any Which Way You Can (1980)."

I've seen Kelly's Heroes a few times and don't remember Clint singing.

Yes. Clint also did his own singing in the box office bomb, Paint Your Wagon.

Except I like that movie. Clint, Lee Marvin, Jean Seberg are great.
Clint and Lee's vocals were bad, but they fit with the film's concept.

Did you know most actors dont start off wanting to be an actor... like Dustin Hofman was a piano major and took acting as a elective... and did you know all actors have to have voice training (singing) play an instrument and speak another language?

He had a few records out. He was a jazz pianist and did a few country records in the early `80's.
Obviously, the one from Jamaica, the one with The Generals and the one with The Agrovators is not our Clint but, the rest are.

He’s also very interested in jazz. One of the first movies he ever directed was a documentary film on jazz pianist Thelonious Monk.

He directed a movie called Bird. I was about Charlie Parker and it reflected his appreciation for jazz.. He won an academy award for best director.
