I dont really know about the films, I didn't see a lot of them because mnost of the ones i did see were complete shit.

As for which universe is better, the answer is neither.

They are both very different things and its fine to like both.

Frankly I think if you have picked one side or another you are completely retarded.

DC really only has Batman, but Batman is a great character and its a great world with interesting villans, its a bit more grown up a bit more dramatic than Marvel.

But Marvel is cool because precisely because it embraces the 10 year old in us, it has so many different mutants and it explores the interactions between different super powers, there is just a lot more going on there.

These films are made in Hollywood and Hollywood is not in the business of making good films, Im not sure that has ever been the objective. Sometimes good films are made but its mostly by accident rather than design. The model is perfectly clear; take a lot of trite garbage off a shelf and package it up with whoevers face is flavour of the month and ram it down peoples throats with a massive advertising campaign and a fucking fortune for it.

The most recent movie I saw was Massive Talent, the new Nicholas Cage movie. And I'd give it a 7/10, it's really good.
