Do you like a bit expensive and fancy pens?

Question

Well, in India, a simple ball pen is for 10 INR.

With respect to that, a Parker pen ranges from 180 to upper limit. Hence they are considered a bit expensive than the normal ones.

But I like them very much. The Vector series are my favorite. The Beta Standard are also good, but they lack the premium feel of Vector series.

I have these three with me. You can also post your favorite pens if you feel like it.

The side ones, my mom gave them, and she got them from her students as a gift.
I purchased the middle one and it is the latest one.

No.
We used to sell Parker and cross pens in our store, desk sets, but those have pretty much gone by the wayside.
I never liked cross pens, they are too skinny.
I just steal them from the bank, they work great.
I get it, in business situations you don't want to pull out your trusty Bic click with Murphy State Bank on it to close a multi million dollar deal.

To me, the purpose of getting a pen is so I can write with it. So I want one that has good ink ready when I need it. My friend stole an expensive pen once. I tried it and it was probably one of worst pens ever.

I don't care as long as it's comfortable when I'm using it and it has ink Lol

However if I had to choose I would go for Bic or Stabilo.

And these ones are neither expensive or fancy but I like them.

I was given a Mont Blanc pen as a gift when I graduated law school. It’s really nice, but really expensive. Like $400, so I keep it at home. The pens I keep in my purse and use at work are Pilot G-2 gel pens.

I only once got Parker pen set (pen, key chain, ink) as a gift. That was extremely expensive but worked really well too. But yeah I'm stuck in Octane lol. I use Luxor and Octane pen mostly. My dad uses all those expensive teramax, V6, Parker pens and design ones because he signs many stuff and he is a popular person so he need to look presentable. Not with a Reynolds lol.

I always use my fountain pen, for some reason a biro just doesn't work ( maybe because I'm left handed.)

My nicest pen is a German made fountain pen worth about 6000 INR I like the way it writes but it's a bit of a pain to maintain.

Im not paying more than $5 for a pen. I've seen some nice lookin pens for less lmao. But i like the cheap ones that switch colors

That's actually something that's never really appealed to me. I've experimented with different kinds of pens, but they've always been disposables.
