Its okay. It plays like a bunch of cutscenes from a game, which is kind of cool. But I didn't know that going in so found myself needing to constantly adjust how far I had to suspend disbelief - a virus that creates mass out of nothing is impossible, for example. A zombie dog that takes the opportunity to perform a jump scare instead of biting their quarry is silly. Someone jumping from a five story building and landing without so much as a bruise is not realistic,

I'm sure it's fine... The problem I have with it is that absolutely no one was asking for it. No one was thinking "wow, I really want MORE zombies" and additionally, no one was thinking "wow, I bet the world of Resident Evil would be totally different if you took away a bunch of white people."
Like... regardless of whether or not the cannon is any different (which it won't be); they're trying to change shit that just didn't need to be changed.
Saw a trailer and decided I’m never going to watch it. RE is such an iconic game but for some reason they never managed to make a legit adaptation of the games into shows/movies. When I think of RE I immediately think of the main characters and how everything started the spencer manor, Jill, Chris and Wesker. It would be so dope if we could see the spencer manor in a show.
Not really, I found Skinwalker Ranch doc more interesting

It's literally the worst video game adaptation of all time. As in, it's official. Super Mario Bros in 1993 was a better movie than this. A score of 1.8 out of 10.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrBQXP2M9MUThe show is good and bad. I really liked Lance Reddicks characters. Unfortunately there was way too many loose ends left unexplained maybe from the games?
The plot line about daughter getting bitten went nowhere. Suddenly she's ok then she's not. Then in future she’s totally fine.
Whats with the giant crocodile?
Whats with her daughter stopping the croc?
The mutant in the vat?
Netflix always shits on video game adaptations. The show has nothing to do with Resident Evil or the games. They just took the name and the zombies and ran with it.
Production companies need to show more respect to the source material when making adaptations because when they take creative liberties it almost always ends up like trash.
Oh!!!
RESIDENT Evil.
I thought you were discussing a new Netflix show starring Trump aka "President Evil".
I liked the games, the movies are kinda bad but so bad that it's good. How bad can this netflix version be?
You couldn't pay me to watch such trash. The trailer showed all I need to know.
Haven't seen it but if it's as good as the game then it's in good hands
Haven't watched it but seeing how all thier previous movies sucked j will say no. This is coming from a huge resident evil fan of the video games.
It's ok. I watched the entire first season to give it a chance. I don't dislike it but probably won't watch season two.
nope , it is horrible , as usual
the only decent resident evil movies are the one that created by capcom themselves , to me
It's lowly rated on IMDB so I decided NO on that.
haven't seen it yet but heard many say, its crap
I’ve never liked any of the resident evil franchise. I find them boring.
