Doesn’t matter what genre like one of my favorite artists is Frederic Chopin I use to get made fun of form listening to him as a kid instead of rap. I like rap music so there was a lot of verity in my music. I also listen to a lot of country and modern and old school metal

Yeah, the term 'old school metal' is defined differently depending on a person's view of what they feel are factors of it. More than any, if the music is old enough to fall under the category and if it can actually be considered metal.

It's also an open description that when broken down is more useful - old school thrash, old school death, old school black or whatever. Some factor in whether the music's commercial or underground, which I don't.

For me, the further into the '90's the less it's old school.
