Plenty of genres have passion and emotion, but only metal makes you feel like you're riding a dragon with a flaming sword about to set entire nations ablaze like Ozai during Sozin's Comet.

I would go with... alternative

first because I do like different types of music and the term alternative is not clearly defined, and it has a lot of variety, which is something I tend to like in music... while still being more into the rock side of things
