When I was in a corrections officer academy back in 2007 I was more accurate than everyone and earned the Top Gun award. I had less than 1/3 the practice as everyone else because I had to miss class repeatedly for personal reasons at the time.
For me it has always been easy to be accurate when shooting.
Pretty decent with rifles. Pistols I’m pretty rusty with. During Covid the ammunition shortages made me skip an entire year between range trips. I could hit a man sized target at 25 yards, but my grouping would probably be like 12” lol. It’s one of those skills that you lose quickly if you don’t keep it up.
Pretty good. I shoot mostly clay target sports. But all around I'm a decent shot.
I have never even shot a gun. But I wanna try eventually lol
Welp, if you make the drive I'll take you to the range lol

800 meters, 15 degree down angle across a valley in light wind. One shot on a moving target. Dropped.
and I won 1st Place in my class at the National 3-Gun Championships in 1996. Shot against Jerry Miculek at the shoot off at the end (he smoked me).
I love going to the range to shoot and to be more familiar with my rifle. I love the smell of gunpowder after it is fired. When I was in the military I was out on the range every other month. I was more the range safety. I'm not fond of the AR-15 rifles. I have two high-powered rifles first one is a 30-30 Winchester a saddle rifle the other one I have is a Springfield that shoots a 308 round. The Springfield with a scope I can shoot over 500 yd did center.
I haven’t shot in a while, but i’ve always been above average. My best shot ever i hit a penny at 150 yards with a scoped 300 magnum, first try. I’d been shooting for an hour or so, working the size of my targets down though. It wasn’t a cold shot.
... why did you share a pic of fresh FRESH ass brass? I personally don't call em gongs... not sure if that's a thing... lol... are you a dude/chick just trying to impress said people? It's cool... I guess... I once met an apparent reserve coast guard "electrician..." Again... alleged... CG electrician. Dude didn't know the 3/4 basic wires to a fkn DRYER... I'm FUCKING COLOR deficient!!! Yet I apparently knew more about that shit.
Its a thing where I'm at. We call them gongs. Its a picture of 5.56/.223 brass I borrowed from google cause I liked it and it was relavent.
I'm not attempting to impress. I hit the range the other day with a Ruger AR-556, 2 M9130 Mosin-Nagants chambered in 7.62x54r. As in rimmed for the extractor's pleasure. And one Sig Sauer P320 in 9mm Luger. In addition I also have a conceal carry license.
I'm not posing. I know what I'm talking about. Nice try though.
Sharp shooter iron sights with rifle. Can hit 300 meter.
Pistol I can shoot expert
I have recently obtained a.357 and a shotgun. I am not very good but i am improving.
Only like once every month 1 visit the range. Its an expensive hobby. With pistol I hit no problem at 25m.
