Of I use an LG CX. It's two years old, but it's one of the best TV's I've ever seen.

The top two are LG OLED's and the Sony OLED. Samsung recently started releasing OLED's. They were competing with LG with their QLED and thought they could beat the OLED with their quantum back lights, the OLED light's are just superior compared to the QLED, so Samsung is a bit late to hope on the OLED train, but I am sure they'll start putting out better OLED TV's in a year or two. LED and QLED use a back light to light up the liquid crystals. Whereas OLED's just lights up the liquid crystals without the use of a back light. The back light causes saturation in the color details. When use an OLED you get nice colors without too much saturation unless you want more pop you calibrate to what you like.

Yes the detail on it is incredible. And even old shows. Like I saw the old 1998 hunter x hunter and on an LED it looks like garbage, but in OLED it looks beautiful. They have the filmmaker mode where you can see exactly what the creator of the show wanted it to look like. The old shows like the old law and order episode look good on it.

It's like driving tesla once you drive e tesla you never want to go back to anything else.

My wife and I got rid of all our old-style televisions, and haven't replaced any of them with modern ones

You're right it set me back $1700, but man I love my OLED. I can't go back to the LED back light screens they look so crappy to me. Once you go OLED you can't go back.
