Is it girly to cry? No- otherwise males wouldn’t be allowed to biologically cry when they have hormones for them (testosterone).

Crying helps ofc keep the eyes clear of dust particles and pathogens.

It can happen when laughing even. Can happen due to climate- a cold or windy day.

Sadness is an emotion for everyone.

It's a good thing if a man is smart enough to understand the emotional plot of a movie, and he reacts accordingly to the scenes. Shedding a few tears in silence is a very human thing to do, and it's a sign of a healthy, possibly empathetic individual. If a grown man were to sob uncontrollably over a movie and need a hug from somebody that might be a different story. He better get his shit together, lol.
