I just bought over 50 books the other week, does that answer your question? lol.
But yeah I am hard set on to read books I find rather than read stuff online for free. Unless if it's something very specific or comics because comics are dumbly priced for what you get. 15 pages of basically an opening to a story with millions of parts afterwards for £8 I don't think so.
Also I get my books in charity shops to lessen the price and I like the fact they've be used before. New books are kinda a waste when there is already tons of copies of that book out there.
I agree with the view books, comics etc should always be cheap but not for free. And do agree they are overcharged in many places.
Coming from a reader and writer.
And I do have some comics but it's always Volumes so never just them dumb one part issues and I did get them all for the cheapest I can with some also been charity shops.
I almost always prefer physical books, the only exception might be a programmer compendium, where I would copy and paste a lot of examples from.
I always prefer to have a real book in my hand.
