I'm 35 and sometimes still watch cartoons, is this childish?

Like my post stated, I'm a 35 year-old woman but sometimes still like watching cartoons. For instance I was just listening to Scooby Doo songs. It's interesting.

I guess part of my childish side stayed with me. At times I just like watching clips of cartoon movies (The Land Before Time) or episodes such as Hey Arnold, etc.

Though I don't act childish at work nor when talking to people. I'm in a normal, adult relationship with my boyfriend, where we both talk about our goals and wanting kids soon.

It is an entertainment media like any other. There is nothing wrong with enjoying it.

If we look at it another way, you being able to enjoy things typically associated with kids would make, in this respect, a very cool mother, aunt, relative etc. I had an uncle who was a legitimate disney fan who used to take us to see the new movies at cinema when I was growing up. Absolutely cherished it and him enjoying it made going even more fun.

It is also worth noting that most cartoons are made with the understanding that they will be watched by many age groups and so they tend to include levels of entertainment suited towards different people making them, in a sense, more multi-faceted than your average show.

Yeah, I did a bit of translation work myself. I marketed towards smaller organisations and set my own rates. The work was not very fun. The hourly pay was great but the hours spent looking for that work made it inconsequential.

Not at all. I've been watching cartoons al my life. I started collecting lots of them in the `80's. The thing is, the stuff I mostly watch was made for adults, although, when we were kids, the adults figured they were made for kids! What sucks is that, now that we ARE adults, we're no longer allowed to see some of them because they're too risque or have racial characters in them. Apparently, it's perfectly fine to show white people in cartoons but no other race!! I thought we were supposed to be all-inclusive!

Many for sentimental reasons, and because I'm fascinated by animation.

Remember that there are a lot of grown adults that animate cartoons as a profession. they don't do it because they're a bunch of adult children, it's because they have a passion for it. THEY know that cartoons are not just for kids, so sometimes they'll slip in stuff that their adult audience will catch on to.

It's OK to love watching cartoons at any age. Because a lot of work went into writing, voicing, and animating them. It's something worth appreciating.

Not at all... I know a lot of adults who are married and have kids also watch cartoons and play video games... I even watched a cartoon " Fairly Odd Parents " recently lol...
