Have you ever ridden Disney World’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?

Follow up question: did it operate as it should?

The fam and I rode it earlier this week and it malfunctioned.

When the cars were supposed to turn back to forwards they did not (apparently due to a loss of battery power).

In the end, the fam and I ended up riding the entire thrilling coaster backwards.

Disney management tells us it’s a once in a lifetime experience. My kids absolutely loved it.

Sounds like you and your kids had fun. I haven't been to Disney World in several years. My family was there years ago when Animal Kingdom first opened, and I remember riding a dinosaur ride that wasn't fully functional yet. We got stranded for a couple minutes until they got the ride going again.

Nope never been to the modern Disneyland's and Disney world.

We visited Disney World a couple months ago, it was a tossup between guardians of the galaxy and the rock and roller coaster. Both were phenomenal in their own right. The Star Wars ride was fairly compelling and unique as well.

My husband, myself, and our oldest liked it the best... but it was a tough decision.
Avatar was a favorite of ours as well. It's likely the decision could change on any given day🤣
