Which video game series do you prefer: Mario or Sonic?

Mario overall, Sonic in the 90s (the original Sonic trilogy beats Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island any day).

Sonic's only had a handful of good games in the modern era: Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle), Sonic Colors (arguably), Sonic Generations, and Sonic Mania. That's roughly one good game every five years since 2000, with most of them being trash. ESPECIALLY Sonic Boom and Sonic Forces.

I think Objectively, Mario has the better consistent good game history.. Not to mention, diverse.. Whereas with Sonic its mostly just him speeding through the level in almost any game... Even though he has venture into different genres like racing and attempted some type of open world.. But Mario at the end of the day..

I preferred Mario when I was younger but now would probably choose Sonic because I think Sonic is easier.

I like Mario because I grew up playing more of his games than Sonic's and I think his brother is hot

Mario, I grew up playing Mario games more than sonic. I couldn't get into sonic, because he moves so fast on the screen it tends to hurt my eyes so I don't play the game.

Love Sonic and grew up with both, but I prefer Mario!

I love both video games series and I grew up on both but Sonic is number 1 for me plus I am excited to play the new game "Sonic Frontier" when it drops in November.

Mario especially after they entered 3D worlds. Sonic I have only played the classics, nothing modern.

I enjoy playing súper Mario bros 3 from the nes but prefer sonic games after that
