What are you looking forward to most about the new pokemon games?

For me it's the hope that it'll be fully open world like Legends: Arceus or the Wild Area in Sword and Shield. I was originally unsure I would like it, but I actually did. It took a while to get used to it though.

I’ve heard it’s supposed to be super open world and the main story is supposed to be totally skipable and even 4 player co-op which I think is super cool


Although personally I hope that they make them harder or have a difficulty option I didn’t like how easy sword and shield were so I’m hoping they give us a difficulty option

I liked the difficulty increase for B2/W2 except you had to beat the game and connect to another game to activate it. Making that a possibility from the start would be nice. You could do a variaton of nuzlocke.

Yea I wish it was just available from the start and you could turn off the dang XP share system it’s so stupid that they all get XP from not being used

You can in some games. I did it for my Mimikyu only run in Ultra Sun, because I had a pickup pokemon with me for double battles. I didn't want it to get any expierence, so it stayed at level 6 and mostly got one shot in all double battles. If you get it as a key item, you usually can toggle it on and off.

I know but in sword and shield you cannot turn it off and I hate that

I hope for an open world multiplayer one, one where it's a fighting game instead of turn based, a combination of the two or one where you can be the wild pokemon and other players battle you to catch you.

I don't think pokemon will ever not be turn based combat

The only ones I know of where you can be a pokemon are mystery dungeon ones, but there are no humans in them at all.

I stopped playing Pokemon before their 3-D games came out and once they did I never got back into it because I have difficulty processing 3-Dimensional data. It's why I don't drive.

Honestly you got out at a good time. People generally say the 3D games aren’t as good as the 2d ones and I can definitely see why

It’s not that it’s just the games are released too soon because of corporate greed so they aren’t fully ready and so are buggy or the story clearly hits a point where you can tell the developers were rushed or bad ideas that QA testers would have removed didn’t get to be tested

I could never get into that show nor the games. But i have a stuff pikachu just cause it was a cute fair prize
