Why are the original series and reboots so different?

Why are animated series reboots generally worse than the original series? Okay, those who find reboots nice, but the general opinion I'm in is; that the original series are better than the reboots.

I guess while the original series was the best it could do, the reboot has dire consequences as it is produced directly.

I don't know about animated things, but somebody had to come up with novel ideas for the original, reboots just have to tweak a few details, which are often the parts that people liked in the original. On the other hand, Robin Hood has been rebooted since before the word was invented. It all comes down to when the golden age of film was: it was 11. (i. e. When you were 11.)
