Do you think comedy comes from painful experience in your life?

Comedy: you know goes back as far as ancient Egypt and was evident during Socrates time in Greece. I am pretty sure Adam, Eve, Job, and Abraham laughed at "things" too.
Comedians are good at taking daily events or longstanding ideas or things and then portraying the opposite of what would be expected from that thing's behavior. They take regular and launch absurdity into the dynamic.. This can be from their direct or indirect childhood to adult experience, and imaginations. Watching people, culture working, workplace, government, and especially friends are all great sources of creativity
it is not often but yes, I could joke about the rough and the worst...
many comedians do a lot of that as well...
Sometimes. I'm not really funny and I've had many painful experiences I think I personally have a dry sense of humour you really have to get into me to get me.
But I find the less social you are the less creative you are when telling jokes. That's my downfall.
Some of it, yeah. I speak a lot of self-deprecating humor but people seem to respond well to it.
There is a big possibility that they can relate to the experience.

Joking about my trauma is indeed funny.
