How can I start to learn how to make my own cosplays instead of just buying them like a loser 😭?

You’re not a loser for buying them. Learning something new. You’re gonna mess stuff up and that’s okay. It’s supposed to be fun and eventually you’ll get better and better.
It’s like playing a new video game and you’re a noob at it and it’s hilarious watching someone new play a game asking dumb questions that make you laugh.
But I also remember that I was once exactly like that when I started playing a game.
With time. You’ll get better and better
You are not a loser!
I actually don't know how to custom make costumes and gear, but I'm VERY interested to learn the answer to this, can I add you on here for cosplay tips, and can you ask your dad where the best place to buy cosplay gear is? I want something cool for going to comicon without breaking the bank, and would also love to know how to make stuff on my own as well. Like how do people make huge glowy swords and spooky looking armor.
Share the knowledge? Please? :c
Doesn't make you a loser, 1. And 2 I would check youtube and check guides just to see what you get yourself into, but I'm almost positive that you'll find step by step tutorials there too to make things. Internet will be your most valuable resource here.
Another fake question from the gynecologist girl.
Excuse me, what?

You got Some Big boobs which is Great better than being Tiny Boobed.
You got the perfect body for gaining muscle.
Ya got that Super Girl Body.
Um yes I'm 16, I don't go to the gym a lot tho so I don't know about gaining muscle
You could get a sewing machine and a book on the subject. Or work off of YouTube tutorials.
I'm actually interested in those things too along with 3D printing cosplay props. I'd love to collab.
If you find a 3d printer that works well for it can you post the link here?
I'm using a creality ender 3
Omg yes that would be so cool
Sweet shoot me a DM.
Uf you can stich the clothes by yourself then you need to learn how to cut the cloth and then I think you should be ready to go. You look cute tho.
Would you mind dropping a follow girl?
… I mean you tube… like pretty much everyone he else, you look it up and educate yourself about it. Read a book, watch a tutorial, take a class..
Oddly enough there is a lot of things on youtube showing off creations, but not a whole lot on the purchasing side of how to get or use the things that its made from, and even most tutorial vids tend to time skip a lot on the process, which can often make it difficult to learn from.
Id say one of the better ones is nerd forge, but even that skips and fast forwards a lot.
One of the hardest parts is where to get any metal or electronics or how to custom program leds to light up using arduino or whatever at just the right speed and color and fit perfectly inside your suit or weapon.
I'm not looking to make an exact copy, or even a remotely similar creation, I was talking about things like materials, vendors, machines, construction methods, wait times for adhesive drying, reliable brands, storefronts to get all these, etc.
Also I've never seen anyone that teaches a class on it, to my knowledge, there isn't one, if you know of one, by all means mention it.
As far as reading up on it, I've done that too. There is scant info on the topic that answers the questions I have.
I did that and I'm getting diddly squat 🤷🏻
All I found were shops for buying expensive premade ones.
You got big boobs for your age lol
Don’t put yourself out there, love yourself to the extent that you don’t let any guy use you or play with your feelings.
Oh uh thanks ig 😅
Start with a popular cosplay and just follow the guides on youtube, if you don't get something, then search a video explain the step 😊
Cute picture by the way
What do you mean think of the character and buy the clothes and materials
Learn how to sew; or use a sewing machine. Then buy fabric and patterns at a fabric store. Then plan out your outfits and try it out.
You can do it, find a sewing shop near you they will be glad to answer questions
Would you pm me
Are you a crafty person? Do you know how to sew
Yeah like I know how to use a sewing machine kinda 😅
You can buy patterns on line to make your costumes. You just search complain costumes. Then you buy the material to make it
You look cute
Thanks lol
Your welcome
I'm sure there's instructional videos on Youtube
