Absolutely NO! And I won’t date a guy (or continue to date him once I discover) that he watches cartoons!
Although I’m an agnostic Jewish woman, I have always admired the beauty and poetry of the New Testament, and in (I believe it’s) 1st Corinthians, Paul writes:
- When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child, and act like a child; But when I became a man, I put away childish things.
That is so beautiful, and so appropriate even today! I’m in college, and while some guys (especially from more rural, mid-west areas) really have their shit together, SO MANY guys, just act as if they were still in middle school! You have NO idea just how many supposedly grown men will argue about which Anime character could “defeat” the other! When I hear something like that, both my respect, and any sexual desire for the guy just vanishes! It’s like I know that I definitely want to have children one day. What I do not want however, is to marry one! (or even date one.)

Yeah with my little sis, I really enjoy some haha do you?
Of course!
Why? Because, believe it or not, most "kids' shows" are actually written for adults too. This is because adults often have to watch kids' shows with their kids. By having some content that an adult knowingly understands and "gets it", the adults are entertained as well.
For this reason, I will happily watch:
1. "Blues Clues"
2. "Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom"
3. "Peppa Pig"
4. "Little Bill", "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids"
5. "Oswald Octopus"
6. and quite possible my favorite "Hey, Duggee"Sometimes, I'd watch "Max and Ruby", but little fat bunnies bothered me.
"PAW Patrol" is annoying.
"Caillou" - that kid should be killed.
"Teletubbies" is rough at times - nothing really there for adults.
I mean it happens. I also felt like fallowing a similar line recently and actually started listening to the How To Train Your Dragons books. But I have a few friends who will still randomly start referencing Vegetails and it blows my mind how it all comes back so easily to my memory.
