YES! It is absolutely worth writing a novel and LOTS of people still read. The key is to publish in various formats because lots of people no longer buy paper books.

Well, it's gotta have at least one racially mixed couple, even better if one of them a closet lezzie, 3 fags, 3 bi-girls, at least one TS, someone that likes bestiality and, if you're gonna make it with the Hollywood set, there's GOTTA be a LOT of child molestation and cannibalism!! My favorite book is A Father’s Promise and it takes place in Poland during the Holocaust. It’s about a Christian Jewish boy and his father. The boys mother died young and she was Swedish. The boys father is Jewish, but they’re Christians. His father helps him escape into the forest to prevent him from being sent to one of the Nazi camps. His father is captured and the boy escapes and learns different things while he’s hiding from the Nazis.

I write all the time. If one's questioning is it worth to write I would say find something else they have passion in. Because if passion isn't there to want to do it anyway I don't see the point.

of course its worth it. Especially Fantasy novels where the real world doesn't exist and your lost in your own interpretation. A lot of good movies were based off of novels and books so there is a good use for them

I mostly just read old stuff that I know I'm probably going to like. I think there's still potential for thrillers like Henning Mankell or Jo Nesbo.
